Desilu or Desilu Productions is a television production company found and owned Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball. The company is best known for producing I Love Lucy and the Star Trek franchise.
ViacomCBS now owns the entire library of Desilu when Arnaz sold his shares of Desilu to Gulf+Western (Paramount back then) for $17 million. After this, Desilu became the production television arm for Paramount Pictures.
Shows produced before 1960 are owned by CBS and shows produced after 1960 are owned by CBS Television Studios as a successor to Paramount Television.
